Therefore to stop the dirty practice of bullying and to give the society a clean and safe environment we should take care of the things from our own end. Bullying affects the physical as well as mental condition of the child, which in turn lessens their ability to memorise the things and learning competence.
Prevent Bullying at School:
The first step to prevent bullying at school can be done by identifying how frequently it occurs, how it goes on and how the poor students are getting into it. Apart from the school, in the community also, it is the responsibility of everyone to contribute their effort towards the affair. The parents should take care to arrange an awareness campaign to get the objective known to the community and the school as well.
Measures to be taken:
The school should take part to establish safety campaign and action force plan and evaluate the prevention program. The school should build a safe environment by operating rules and policies and disseminate it widely among the community to make a mission statement, school administration rule and bulling reporting system effective. The students and the school staffs should be equipped with a proper training session to know how to handle the situation in case if bullying found.
Do not hesitate to get the help of a police authority or any medical attention if required immediately. There is however a completely new concern about school violence, now the police agency have assumed greater responsibility for helping out the school officials for making sure students’ safety. Always go to the police help nearby if you find any weapon involved in the affair, or if there is any serious physical injury or threat to motivate violence, any such bodily harm, sexual abuse or forcible attacking on property or money.
it is not only the police but all the other segments like school administrators should care about a safety aspects. however they are better equipped to address the issue.
Now the educational institutes and the police are jointly discovering innovative ways of working together pro-actively to put a stop to bullying.
